The
City asked Muller to prepare a construction package
on a very short time frame for a new portion of
Englewood Parkway from Elati Street to Cherokee
Street. The project involved 800 feet of urban
street improvements, sidewalks, drainage and utility
modifications.
The
centerpiece of the project is a modern roundabout
at the intersection of Englewood Parkway and Cherokee
Street designed to accommodate a major bus route
to the Southwest Corridor Light Rail Station in
the redeveloped Englewood Downtown area. The roundabout
has proven to be one of the safest intersections
in Englewood.
