The roadway was designed to blend with the rural character of the area and minimize impacts to existing wetlands and riparian vegetation along North Turkey Creek and an adjacent lush meadow.  Muller designed an asphalt roadway topped with a chip seal colored to appear as a dirt road and match the native brown rocks and grasses.
