The 60th Avenue lift station and sewer system project in the industrial area north of 60th Avenue and west of US 85 involved the replacement of an existing wet/dry pit configuration lift station with an above-ground self-priming duplex lift station and approximately 4,000 feet of 4-inch to 12-inch gravity sewer line.

About 400 feet of sewer line was constructed in bored 24-inch casing pipe beneath US 85 and two BNRR tracks and laid deep enough to eliminate the need for one of the district's lift stations and two privately owned lift stations.
