Muller
provided planning, hydraulic analysis, design,
and construction services for a new bifurcation
structure on the O'Brian Canal that has the capacity
to convey 950 cfs down the Canal while diverting
up to 150 cfs into what is now the new starting
point for the Little Burlington Ditch.
The
project includes a spillway section and automated
gate control as a means of spilling storm runoff
intercepted by the canal during flood events over
the spillway and on down First Creek.
