Muller Engineering Company (Muller) and their project partners were honored with the Denver Regional Council of Government’s (DRCOG) Metro Vision Award for the Clear Creek Trail: Huntsman Segment project.
This award recognizes excellence, innovation, collaboration and leadership in problem-solving among communities and their partners. This project for Jefferson County Parks and Open Space is the next major milestone in completing the Clear Creek Trail, a signature regional corridor through Clear Creek Canyon. The first 1.5 miles of the project opened to the public on November 20, 2025, delivering five bridges, five improved creek access points, and 41 new parking spaces at the trailhead. The final 1.5‑mile section is well underway and scheduled to open in October 2026, adding four additional bridges, six more creek access points, and 67 parking spaces at the Huntsman’s Rancho Trailhead. Together, these investments extend multimodal access through some of the canyon’s most challenging terrain and move the region significantly closer to realizing the full 65‑mile Clear Creek Trail vision.
