Longmont Roadway Plan—City of Longmont

The Longmont Roadway Plan provided a technical analysis of the City’s street system and identified future roadway needs and improvements. Longmont uses the Roadway Plan to identify candidate projects and estimated costs to help secure funding from various sources within the City as well as outside agency funding. Components of the Roadway Plan included updating the Longmont/Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) travel demand model, performing alternative model runs to develop 2035 traffic projections and evaluating potential improvements, recommending appropriate number of lanes on arterial and collector roadways, recommending potential improvements at arterial intersections, and developing planning-level cost estimates for recommended corridor and intersection improvements.
