Muller Engineering Company (Muller) is pleased to announce the promotions of Joe Juergensen, PE, and Steven Humphrey, PE, to Vice President, effective immediately. These promotions reflect Muller’s continued commitment to experienced, responsive leadership that supports our clients, strengthens project delivery, and helps guide the company’s long-term growth.
Throughout his 25-year career at Muller, Joe has helped build and lead teams focused on delivering innovative stormwater solutions and exceptional service to our project partners. He has also played an important role in strengthening collaboration, communication, and engagement across the company. As Vice President, Joe will serve as executive sponsor for Muller’s Stormwater Program, providing strategic leadership and market oversight in partnership with Muller’s Group Managers and Team Leads. He will continue to lead Muller’s Stormwater Group and serve as Principal on client projects.
Steven’s 15-year career at Muller has centered on helping public-sector clients plan, manage, and deliver complex programs. His experience includes multi-agency coordination, strategic planning, resiliency integration, emergency response, and long-term recovery efforts. As Vice President, Steven will serve as executive sponsor for the Transportation Program, in partnership with Muller’s Transportation Group Managers. Steven will also continue to serve as Group Manager for Muller’s Planning & Program Management Group and as Principal on client projects.

As part of this leadership alignment, Matt Andrews, PE, will continue to serve as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, second in leadership to me as President/CEO. Matt provides continuity of executive leadership when needed and strategic leadership for operations and program delivery, helping ensure our projects are delivered successfully, our teams are supported, and the company continues to perform and grow effectively. Together, these leadership roles reinforce Muller’s commitment to providing the experience, continuity, and strategic guidance our clients rely on to deliver important infrastructure projects for Colorado communities.
