Muller Engineering Company Announces the Promotion of Two New Associate Shareholders

Muller Engineering Company (Muller) is pleased to announce the promotion of two new Associate Shareholders: Carlos Sala, PE, and Keri Burson.

Muller’s shareholder and senior management group takes great pride in the expansion of the team, which significantly contributes to Muller’s overarching mission of fostering collaborative efforts in Creating Better Places, Together for our communities, clients, and dedicated employees.

Gray Clark, PE.

Carlos Sala, PE, is a team lead and senior project manager in Muller’s Transportation Planning & Design group. His 18 years of professional engineering experience features a diverse range of projects, including serving as the design manager for Segments 5 and 6 of the I-25 North Reconstruction project for CDOT Region 4. His project portfolio includes impactful projects such as the Gold Line Commuter Rail EIS for RTD, the South I-25 Gap for CDOT Regions 1 and 2, and roadway improvements for numerous municipalities across Colorado. Carlos served as a Corporal in the United Sates Marine Corps, holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.

Carlos served in key leadership roles on the two largest projects in Muller’s history, served on the 2013 Flood Recovery Incident Command Center’s Operations Team, and managed resiliency projects for the 2013 Flood Event. These experiences, along with his project management and leadership skills, reinforce Muller’s ability to meet the needs of our clients, and continue improving our Colorado communities.

Keri Burson is Muller’s Marketing Director. Her 20 years of professional experience features guiding teams responsible for proposal development and the implementation of innovative marketing strategies. She excels in brand management, public relations, and digital marketing. Since joining Muller, Keri has built a high-performing, full-service marketing department, launched an award-winning website, established a robust data and information management system to support marketing efforts, and significantly enhanced Muller’s multi-platform social media presence. Additionally, she spearheaded the branding initiative during Muller’s 2022 office move, thoughtfully conveying the company’s history and creating a consistent brand experience throughout the new space.

Keri holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Arts in Marketing Communications from the University of Denver. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Colorado. Keri brings a strong business acumen and fresh perspective to the leadership team at Muller, enhancing the company’s operational efficiency and strategic approach.
