Dean serves in various key roles at Muller. Since 2013, Dean has served as the corporate treasurer and before that was assistant treasurer from 2001. He is the director of the finance group and is responsible for the fiscal health of the business. Dean’s background is in civil engineering with expertise on water, wastewater, and stormwater facility projects, including pumping systems, new and replacement water lines, well pump facilities, distribution booster pump stations, irrigation systems and diversion structures, water storage reservoirs with inlet and outlet facilities, sewage lift stations, sanitary and storm sewer lines, drainage facilities, and drainage and flood control planning studies. He is also versed in structural engineering on horizontal construction/infrastructure type projects, which includes hydraulic concrete structures, pedestrian bridges, pedestrian underpasses and trail design, retaining walls, concrete box culverts, and concrete vaults for water meters, backflow preventers and valves. Dean was one of the nine employees who helped establish the Employee Shareholder structure in 1996. He is a professional engineer in Colorado, and a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, American Public Works Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
