The Bear Creek Trail project was one of 14 projects recognized by the Colorado Lottery on this year’s 2025 Starburst Awards list. The award recognizes exceptional use of Lottery funds that make life better for Coloradans. Improvements to the Bear Creek Trail do just that – they will alleviate congestion on the seven-mile trail, which runs from near C-470 and Morrison Road in Bear Creek Lake Park and extends east to Wadsworth Boulevard and into Denver.
