Karen serves as a senior project manager in the Transportation Planning & Design group, as well as leads Muller’s Quality Management Program. As a senior project manager, she leads design teams to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for a variety of transportation planning and design projects. As Muller’s Quality Management Program director, she is ultimately responsible for the Muller project teams adherence to the Muller Quality Management Plan. Karen specializes in rural transportation projects with unique environmental challenges. Her infrastructure improvement experience includes roadway, interchange, and multimodal design, planning, and implementation. As a skilled project manager, Karen has a comprehensive understanding of the components that work together for a successful project outcome. Karen served as the design lead on the 42-mile CO 52 PEL study. She is a professional engineer in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, and she is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
