Michelle leads a specialized group of Hydrology/Hydraulics experts with a focus of supporting Muller’s Transportation Planning & Design group. Michelle’s team is responsible for drainage and storm drain design, water quality design, MS-4 permitting, floodplain analysis and permitting and stormwater detention as it pertains to transportation infrastructure. Michelle’s career began in land development with designing stormwater, water distribution, sanitary sewer and roadway facilities in both the Lowry and Central Park (formerly Stapleton) developments. Over the course of her career, she found a niche in drainage design for transportation projects. Michelle’s diverse background and focused experience in hydrologic and hydraulic design helps balance the varying project drainage and water quality design needs with overall project design goals. She is a professional engineer in Colorado, a CDOT Certified Stormwater Management Plan Preparer, and a member of the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers, and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
